Why does this use Glucosamine Sulfate instead of HCI?
Let's deep dive into Glucosamine - specifically the two forms available, HCl vs Sulfate. Most people don't go down the ingredients rabbit hole. However, we urge you to look at the type of glucosamine that's offered. Nearly every joint supplement on the market uses the cheaper HCl version, "which is already known to have poorer bioavailability and poor clinical effect"*. Clinical trials suggest that the Sulfate version has a much higher efficacy and, you guessed it, Fera only uses Glucosamine Sulfate to deliver a superior joint supplement!

What is the amount of phosphorus per soft chew?
An individual chew contains about 15 milligrams of available phosphorus (0.04%), which should have little or no impact on the total amount of phosphorus in the dog’s diet.
