Directions
If giving more than 1 capsule daily, divide between AM and PM. Capsule may be given whole, in a pill pocket, or opened and sprinkled.
For multi-pet households or large dogs, we recommend the 120ct size.

Why is this recommended for my dog's breed?
Some dog breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. For example, mitral valve disease (MVD) is 20x more common in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels than other dog breeds. As such, we recommend supplements based on your pet's predisposition.
Why is taurine important?
Certain dog breeds are unable to produce enough taurine, particularly big dogs which make taurine at much slower rates. Though most diets can improve taurine intake, adding cardiac supplements that contain this important amino acid can ensure they receive enough which supports a healthy heart. Fera's cardiac support is formulated to provide an effective dose of taurine to support your pet's heart health.
How long will this last for my pet? What size should I purchase?
We recommend the 60 capsule size for pets less than 50 pounds. The 60 capsule size will last 60 days for a pet less than 25 pounds and 30 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds.
For pets over 50 pounds or multi-pet households, we recommend the 120 capsule size. This will last 120 days for a pet less than 25 pounds, 60 days for a pet between 26-50 pounds, 40 days for a pet between 51-75 pounds and 30 days for a pet greater than 76 pounds.
What type of Vitamin E is used?
Non-GMO, D-alpha-tocopherol from sunflowers (soy-free)
Can this be taken with prescription heart medications?
Yes, the supplement is safe to take with prescription cardiac medication but if you have a specific medication you want to ask about, please email Fera Pets at customerservice@ferapetorganics.com and their veterinarian will get back to you within 48 hours.
What form is the CoQ10? Ubiquinone or Ubiquinol?
The Coenzyme Q10 in our cardiac support is of the ubiquinone form. Ubiquinol is not stable when exposed to oxygen.
