There are two types of fiber: soluble and insoluble.  Soluble fiber dissolves in water, creating a gel-like substance that helps slow down digestion. Insoluble fiber does not dissolve in water but attracts water to the digestive system, improving regularity by making stools softer and easier to pass. Both soluble and insoluble fibers are important for overall gut health, which is why Fera Pets selected a mixture of the two for maximum benefits.
